Course Summary

If you are interested in a dynamic, challenging and highly topical course, focused on developing a deeper understanding of our world and the physical and human processes that shape it, then A-level geography is for you.

Course Details

This course is for critical and reflective learners. You will study the complexity of people-environmental interactions, contemporary issues and the values, attitudes and circumstances impacting on people-place relationships. You will also develop qualitative and quantitative approaches to geographical enquiry. As well as numerous fieldwork experiences you will be given opportunities to take part in optional lectures. There is also the opportunity to become a sixth form geography ambassador. The course comprises of three examined units and an independent investigation on a topic of your choice.
