Bishop Laney Football Trials - Norwich City FC Programme

The Football Develop scheme, for male and female students is an ideal opportunity for any young player interested in developing their skills alongside study and career options. Interested students are invited to attend this Norwich City FC trial. Following a successful trial, students will be accepted onto the programme subject to a successful application for a study programme at the College.

Our Open Days are a great opportunity to see what it is like to study at Cambridge Regional College. We have a wide range of full-time, part-time and higher education courses available, from Construction and Engineering to Media, Computing Technologies and Catering. We are also the largest Apprenticeship provider in the Eastern Region with many opportunities to join great companies. Find out more about a vocational route to a great career or higher education. Our Open Days are very busy, so pre-registering is advised. Please note only the prospective student looking to study at the college needs to pre-register. Apprenticeship Information Evening, Cambridge

Come along and meet our Apprenticeship Team, hear from a local Employer and an Apprentice. We are on hand to answer any questions you may have about our Apprenticeship Programmes and offer you guidance as to what to do next. Apprenticeships are a fantastic route to getting specific industry careers started early and provides future opportunities for career progression or further education at University. We look forward to meeting you, doors open at 6.00pm with talks starting promptly at 6.30pm. Refreshments will be provided. Spaces are limited, book your place today.

Hills Road Guidance Meeting

Invitations to a guidance meeting are sent to those applicants: • whose application has been received by the closing date • who place us as first choice A level centre in their application, or second choice A level centre behind a CAP school sixth form • who satisfy our minimum entry criteria • who are qualified in at least two subjects applied for (on the assumption that a third subject for which they were qualified could then be explored at the guidance meeting).

Oakes College - Information Evening for Prospective Parents/Carers

All parent/carers of students who have received an offer of a place to study with us from September 2020, will be invited to an information evening. This will be an opportunity for parent/carers to hear about the programme of support that we provide for students who study at The Oakes College. Staff will be on hand to answer specific pastoral and academic questions.

Following a short introduction by the Principal, the Head of Year and also the Student Council, you will then have your subject lessons where you will also be given more information about the summer work. There will be other activities taking place at the College for you to get involved in, and it's also the perfect opportunity to meet new people. Welcome to Hills is the ideal way of seeing what College is really like, so you are prepared for when you join us in September, and so you can relax and enjoy your summer holiday! Bishop Laney Sixth Form Taster Day 2020

The 2020 Bishop Laney Taster Day takes place on Tuesday 7th July 2020 for students in Year 10. After a short welcome talk, you will be able to try out four different subjects, have a look around the Sixth Form and meet some of our current students who can tell you how great it is to study here! You’ll try out 4 courses, with a break in between and followed by time where you can meet our current students. The day can then end around 1:15pm, or if you are interested in the Norwich Football Club Development Programme there is an opportunity to meet with the team and take part in a training session; finishing around 3:00pm. The Bishop Laney programmes offer a mix of A Level and Level 3 Certificate and Diploma courses; with a number of Level 2 options also available. You can combine the A Levels and Level 3 courses, offering you great flexibility and choice.
